Imagery Analysis for CCTV Operators

For: CCTV Operators required to view images and provide evidence for crimes and incidents

Duration: Two days

Purpose: To give CCTV operators the skills to understand the principles of imagery analysis and maximize the interpretation of CCTV to support crime and incident investigation

Outcomes: Staff will be better able to:

Have an understanding of the fundamentals imagery analysis

Understand the interpretation of Infra-red and standard camera technology

GAIT analysis (Interpreting body movement to identify individuals)

Understand Timeline analysis of images.

Appreciate the effects of perspective on CCTV images.

Apply the principles of scaling and measuring objects on CCTV images.

Develop Analytical skills.

Provide detailed information faster to the Police and security forces to support investigations.

The course will be delivered by former military imagery intelligence analysts with extensive experience of providing imagery analysis support to police forces and security professionals.
