TACTICAL WORKSHOP FOR MANAGERS OF ANALYSTS

To provide Managers with a practical overview of what the analysts in their organisations are capable of producing under the National Intelligence Model. The workshop will also cover best practice tasking issues and highlight the implications of the accountability of the Manager regarding the use of analytical products.

OUTLINE PROGRAM
The workshop will be conducted over a two-day period. The program includes the following sessions, plus syndicate exercise work.

The NIM – Analytical Products (Managers Perspective)

Crime Pattern Analysis and Partnership Approaches

Criminal Intelligence Analysis

Legislation (as it affects the Analyst)

Tasking Issues (especially re RIPA, and justification for action)

Use of Product and Implications (as above)

This 2-day workshop is designed to give a snapshot of the 10-day course delivered to operational analysts. The course is delivered as both an ‘open’ course at Wyboston Lakes, or it can be delivered at a venue of your choice, for example, if your organisation wanted to host a course at a set fee for the course.
